2008 IBCA Goalsetter All Star Games Results and All-Tournament Selections Released

PELLA—Iowa’s finest high school senior basketball players gathered at the 2008 IBCA Goalsetter All-Star Games June 6-7 at Central College to showcase their talent in their last official high school basketball competition. The popular and prestigious Goalsetter All-Star Games are the official All-Star games of the Iowa Basketball Coaches Association (IBCA).
The women opened up competition on Friday with Class 3A reigning as they defeated Class 4A 74-68 in the first round and knocked off Class 1A/2A, 75-69, in the championship game. On Saturday, the men took the court. In the championship game, Class 4A beat Class 2A 106-105 with a buzzer-beating shot and Class 3A took the consolation game with a 91-81 victory over Class 1A.
